SunBird Golf Club
The SunBird Golf Club is an 18 hole, 4,384 yard par 66 course. The golf course is open to the public, but you’ll find most of the people on the course live in the community, especially during the busy winter months. They have daily green fees and also offer annual unlimited play passes and “punch card” multi-round passes, available for both residents and the general public. There are several men’s and ladies golf groups.
Since opening for play in the early 90’s, SunBird has never been your ordinary executive course! The semi-private, Gary Panks-designed course has plenty of challenging features to delight every level of golf enthusiast, from the novice recreationalist to the more serious low handicappers.
On this 4,384 yard, par 66, ‘JEWEL’ of the Phoenix East Valley area, very manageable water features are found on ten different holes.
After your round, stop in at the restaurant on the top floor for some good food, good drinks, and great views of the golf course and SunBird pool area.
