55+ Community in Mesa, AZ

The townhomes and condos have their own clubhouses, separate from the Apache Wells Country Club, and they do not have access to amenities at the Country Club, which is only open to residents in the original “mobile home” community

In 2006 Apache Wells debuted a brand new $5 million clubhouse. They completely tore down the old clubhouse from the 1960’s and started from the ground up. The clubhouse contains both the amenities and golf club, including a full service restaurant and bar.

With more than 40 different clubs and activities, you can do as much or as little as you like. Check the HOA’s website for a full list of the numerous clubs and activities. A community newspaper called the Round Up is published monthly with their calendar of events.

ARTS & CRAFTS

The arts and crafts wing of the complex has many arts & crafts rooms including woodshop, sewing, lapidary, pottery, and more.

BALLROOM/AUDITORIUM

There are many community gatherings, dances, and showtime performances sponsored by the community. They also hold bingo games every Thursday here.

FITNESS CENTER

Equipped with aerobics and strength training equipment.

GAME & RECREATION ROOMS

Billiards room, card rooms, library, lounge areas.

POOL

Resort-style swimming pool and a spa. There are also pools at The Village and Apache Wells 2.

SPORT COURTS

Tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, shuffleboard and horseshoes.

GOLF CLUB & RESTAURANT

An 18-hole championship golf course and a full-service bar and restaurant that is open to the public.

SOFTBALL FIELD

Softball leagues compete among the area active adult communities.
